Online Software Tutorials
A variety of online short courses, software tutorials, and reference materials are aggregated at the Online Software Tutorials website. Collectively, these resources provide 24/7 access to technology training to everyone at Virginia Tech.
At this site, you can access hundreds of ElementK’s tutorials regarding key software applications such as those created by Microsoft and Adobe. As a complement to these tutorials, full-text reference books covering topics in the fields of computer science and information technology can be accessed through the link to Safari Books.
In addition, documentation and tutorials from a number of other sources, covering much-requested topics, such as EndNote, NVivo, and others, are available through this site. Rounding out these resources are streaming videos of select FDI short courses. These sessions include video of the presenter and his/her computer screen and capture the short course experience complete with questions and answers.
